Strategic Tax Planner

We are looking to recruit a technically excellent, results driven, professional, enthusiastic, motivated, well presented, confident, organised and IT literate team player into our Tax Department. This new role will work alongside our existing Tax Partner and Tax Team Manager to undertake specialist strategic tax planning for our growing portfolio of clients. Membership of the Chartered Institute of Tax or Qualified Accountant with mainly tax experience is an essential requisite for this role.

The dynamic incumbent will work closely with our Partners and Griffins Financial Solutions (our holistic financial planning department) to promote tax services, identify planning opportunities for clients and control the marketing of these services whilst striving to meet challenging targets. Additionally there will be involvement in dealing with Revenue Enquiries into client's affairs; from the first letter to completion and settlement. There will also be opportunities to manage special projects such as company restructures, management buy-outs etc.

Key skills and experience required:

This role requires a sound and broad based understanding of tax planning for owner managed businesses and high net worth individuals, as well as the interpersonal skills to deal with effectively people (our employees and clients) at all levels.
